Meet Us

We are the Brownies! Now do you want a delicious brownie? Just kidding, that could get awkward. My name is Christy and this is my husband Jacob. We met when we were 11 and 12. Not to be all sappy but I thought he was dreamy from day 1. It just took him a little while to think the same of me! We got married at 17 & 18 and have been married for (almost) 18 years.

We bought a farmhouse built originally in 1890 and a MAJOR fixer upper. We have done 90% of the work ourselves and SOMEHOW our marriage has survived! We still have so much to do and would love for you to follow along as we share our journey!
